“We offer both competitive and recreational leagues for each sport and have enough spots to fill up about 200 to 250 teams for each sport,” Reid Jackson said. “As for how long each sport’s season lasts, there is a three-week regular season, followed by a three-week playoff period.”

With Baylor students settling in during the first week of class, some might be wondering what to get involved in. Intramural sports present a ripe opportunity for anyone who feels like there isn’t much going on.
Intramurals are a great way to get involved in the Baylor community, meet new people and find friends. However, intramurals are separated by gender, and only a few coed sports are offered each semester: Spikeball, whiffle ball, sand volleyball and kickball.
At Baylor intramural’s town hall meeting at the end of this semester, there will be plenty to talk about as many students are concerned about escalating problems they see in one of Baylor’s most popular recreational activities.
