From upsets over top-ranked teams to protecting home turf against conference foes, Baylor athletics has had another strong year. Even though both golf teams, softball, baseball and track and field are still competing as part of the 2022-2023 season, here’s a compilation of the best sports moments of the past year.

The Bears knocked off the top-ranked Sooners 4-3 Sunday afternoon at Getterman Stadium for Baylor’s first win over Oklahoma in nearly six years.
The Bears were led by junior right-handed pitcher Dariana Orme, who tossed the first seven-inning game in program history.

After winning the Getterman Classic tournament last weekend, No. 15 Baylor softball will hit the road to play in another tournament. Baylor plays in the five-game Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Palm Springs, Calif., Thursday to Saturday.
No. 14 Baylor softball was named champions of the 2014 Getterman Classic after a strong 4-1 weekend in Waco.
Baylor started off the tournament by defeating UAB in their Classic opener on Friday night 4-2 on a walk-off three-run home run by senior catcher Clare Hosack.
After dropping their first game to Washington, the Bears won four straight against San Diego, UC Davis, UNLV and Arkansas as No. 16 Baylor softball opened its 2014 season this past weekend with the five-game UNLV Sportco Kick-Off Classic in Las Vegas.
The No. 22 Baylor softball team played a triple-header this Saturday to conclude the Getterman Classic.
Baylor won two out of three games, putting them at 3-2 for the season. Baylor ended up winning the Getterman Classic for the seventh time.
The No. 22 Baylor Softball team began its season with the 12th annual Getterman Classic on Thursday with a 5-0 win over Illinois State. Under head coach Glenn Moore, Baylor is now 11-2 in opening games and 11-0 when opening its season at home.
Junior left-handed pitcher Whitney Canion earned the win. This was her first game back from a knee injury suffered last season.
