The Daily Beast and The Daily Wire are slowly taking the place of The Daily Planet. Our generation is responsible for this. We are watching and overseeing the end of an era as mainstream media sources are being edged out because of our embrace of social media.

The Baylor Line originated in 1970, with generations of Baylor freshmen after them immortalizing their names on the same golden line, according to BaylorProud. The Baylor Chamber of Commerce helps keep this tradition alive.

Instead of letting yourself become addicted to your phone, use it as a tool to keep in contact with people you don’t get to see often or as a tool to deepen your understanding of topics you’re curious about. Right now, they are simply becoming a tool to dull senses, push away thoughts and numb emotions.

Three generations and 14 family members — a family of Baylor legacies.

A resonating family presence on campus doesn’t give legacy students any preferential treatment over an average Baylor student. Waco junior Rachael Brown and Dallas sophomore Caty Beth Holstead know this all too well. They are cousins, and are only a small portion of the longstanding Allen legacy family.
