The all women’s soccer tournament will take place from 3:30 p.m. to sunset today and from 2:30 p.m. to sunset Sunday at Edge Field.

Alpha Delta Pi will host its Third annual “Tug for Tots,” tug of war competition this Thursday, to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House charity, the sorority’s national philanthropy.

The tournament, which will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at Bear Park, the green space behind of South Russell Hall, is open to any Baylor student.

Participants must register to compete as part of a four-person, same-gender team.

I looked for things like choreography, song choice, vocal talent, overall execution and story development. I gave extra considerations to acts that were particularly entertaining, or creative, and how well each act developed the story within their performance. Please keep in mind that this is all just one man’s opinion.

Sing 2011 was filled with awesome sets, great themes and much improvement. We’ve made some observations on each of the acts. They aren’t meant to be rude — they’re meant to highlight the good and point out the areas that need improvement. Thanks to all the performers for their hard work. Our top three picks are Kappa Omega Tau, Alpha Tau Omega and Pi Beta Phi.

Most students’ spring break plans include sunbathing, relaxing and escaping from the classroom. But for eight family and consumer science students, spring break will be an application of what they’ve learned in the classroom as the childhood development team travels to Belize for an academic mission.
