“If I were to die tomorrow, I don’t want people’s experience with me to be like, ‘Oh, he had a lot of money,'” Kagen said. “He stayed in one place his whole entire life. Yeah, he was great. This guy was a great accountant’ — nothing against accountants.”

Remember, you’re the author of your own happiness. It’s no one else’s job to make your day more fun — only your own. So, if you find yourself growing to despise the humdrum of the daily grind, don’t let the negativity and boredom take over. Create a little game, task or challenge to keep yourself entertained.
Baylor’s campus recreation program, Outdoor Adventure, offers a variety of getaway trips for students during the fall semester. Outdoor activities featured on these trips include kayaking, hiking, rock climbing and more.
It’s easy to complain that kids don’t exercise enough these days. A common stereotype of young people is that they sit on the couch all day with an Xbox controller in hand, a two-liter bottle of Mountain Dew to their right and empty boxes of Bagel Bites to their left. While many complain about this, few people do anything to actually try and get kids to go outside and play.
