The low hum of steel guitars and neon-lit nostalgia will soon echo through Foster Pavilion. On Oct. 2, Baylor will trade sneakers and basketballs for cowboy boots and two-stepping when rising country artist Braxton Keith brings his high-and-lonesome Texas sound to Waco with the “Real Damn Deal” tour.
With summer just around the corner, it’s obvious that many students (including myself) are looking solely at the break as our primary point of concern. But should we be so concerned with summer that we hurry the coming weeks away?
No matter who ends up the victim in the Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman case, the media is going to go down in history as the bad guy.

As class of 2012 members prepare to graduate and find a job, they may expect certain personal questions to be asked of them in job interviews, but “What is your Facebook username and password?” is probably not one of them.
Imagine this: a world without time. What would it look like? Everything human eyes have ever swept across has been touched by time.
