Thursday was the 49th annual kick-off of the Waco-McLennan County Library book sale at the Extraco Events Center Waco and book lovers are thrilled for the opportunity to peruse more than 110,000 books, DVDs, videos, CDs and more.

It led me, however, to the Wikipedia article on “Der Struwwelpeter,” a German children’s book which features 10 stories intended to teach morals to the children who read the book.
