Former Freshman All-American Bryson Washington is transferring to Auburn after three years in Waco, his agent Wyatt Mumfrey told The Lariat on Saturday. Washington set the Bears’ freshman rushing record in 2024.
DJ Lagway, a Baylor legacy, is transferring from Florida after two seasons in Gainesville. He was a top-10 recruit in the nation in the class of 2024.
Junior center Juslin Bodo Bodo has yet to play for the Bears this season due to an upper arm injury. Following the signing of Barcelona center James Nnaji, the High Point transfer will medically redshirt for the season.
Nnaji, a 7-foot center from Nigeria, was drafted by the Detroit Pistons with the No. 31 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He will soon become the first NBA Draft pick to play his first NCAA game years after being drafted.

The screenings will begin at 1 p.m. Friday in the McLennan Community College Lecture Hall Building and horror movie experts will introduce each picture.
World Hunger Relief Inc. is bringing a day filled with music, local vendors and farm-fresh food to the Waco community.
The free event, called Farm Day, will last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the World Hunger Relief farm, located at 356 Spring Lake Road in Waco.

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”
