Two things can be true at once. You can love Sing because of its exciting production and fabulous dance numbers and criticize it for its shortcomings. If you didn’t get tickets this year, for whatever reason, that’s OK. You aren’t any less green and gold for missing the Greeks shake and belt one out.
While everyone talks about “Sing season” and the excitement surrounding it, that thrill isn’t universal. Students who aren’t in Greek life, who don’t have the connections or inside knowledge often watch from the sidelines, sometimes literally. Sing becomes a celebration for some and a reminder of exclusion for others.
With AI, taxes and border security at the forefront, each candidate got the opportunity to explain their position in a moderated discussion with their opponents.
Baylor’s Society of Automotive Engineers will compete in a five day-long competition in Oregon with teams from all across the country May 7 through May 12. Throughout the entire year, this organization has worked to design and build a car from scratch.

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election. The results also kicked off the 2026 midterm cycle.
