The Black Gospel Music Restoration Project began at Baylor well over a decade ago. Now, the project will have its own faculty chair, giving Baylor the funding and personnel to expand and continue the research and scholarship in Black worship, preaching and studies.

Busted pipes led to water damage in several stores and restaurants in downtown Waco. Although the repairs are still underway, the stores are getting creative in order to keep up their businesses.

Lilia Gonzalez, director of nurses, said Health Services would remain available to monitor potential measles outbreaks and help students. Though the Texas measles outbreak has ended, Health Services continues providing preventative measures for other potential outbreaks.
