No. 3 Baylor baseball will take on the No. 25 New Mexico State Aggies tonight and Saturday. Both games of the two-game series will be at Baylor Ballpark, and the top 25 showdown should test both teams.

Not long after the third pitch of the game left junior pitcher Courtney Repka’s hand, it was sent over the right field wall as No. 25 Baylor softball fell Tuesday in College Station to the No. 19 Aggies 10-2.

“Others receiving votes.” That’s where the Baylor baseball team was in the rankings to begin the season. A record of 35-7, including 24 straight wins, has changed the minds of voters around the country.

A record crowd of 5,911 came out to Baylor Ballpark to watch the No. 6 Bears take on the No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies. Baylor won their 23rd game in a row in a 1-0 pitchers duel over the Aggies. Senior right-handed pitcher Trent Blank earned the win, reaching 9-0 on the year. The Bears is now 34-7 on the year, and 17-0 in Big 12 play.

There was no shortage of offense for the No. 6 Baylor baseball team as it tied its all-time win streak total of 20 games by beating the Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi Islanders Tuesday 15-2. The game was ended after the top of the seventh due to run rule.

It took 13 innings and nearly four hours, but the No. 21 Baylor Bears earned their 11th win in a row and third Big 12 sweep of the season. The team is now 22-7 and 9-0 in conference play.

The winning streak extends to 10 games for the No. 21 Baylor baseball team after they beat the Oklahoma State Cowboys 3-2. Senior right-handed pitcher Trent Blank earned the win and moved to 7-0 on the season. The Bears are now 21-7 on the season and remain atop the Big 12.

The Baylor baseball team won their ninth straight game by beating the Oklahoma State Cowboys 7-4. Junior left-hander Josh Turley got the start, and sophomore left-hander Brad Kuntz got the win.

No. 21 Baylor baseball will take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a three-game series this weekend. The Bears have won eight straight and have scored at least eight runs in each game over the course of this streak.

With only three hits on the evening, the No. 17 Baylor Lady Bears softball team lost on the road to No. 15 Texas A&M 6-1 at the Aggie Softball Complex in College Station.
