The Baylor men and women’s tennis teams will both be in action this weekend trying to continue their spring season success. The Baylor men will be traveling to Dallas to face the SMU Mustangs on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 12 p.m. The Lady Bears will be traveling to Charlottesville, Va., to compete in the ITA Team National Indoor Championship. This tournament will be the Lady Bears toughest of the year as it features 16 of the Nations top 25 teams and nine of the top 10. The third-ranked Baylor women’s tennis team will be hoping to make a championship run through the tournament that lasts begins Friday and ends Monday.

Both teams take the field in Waco this weekend, with baseball opening its season against Oral Roberts at 4 p.m. and softball welcoming New Mexico to Getterman Stadium for a three game series. The Lady Bears battle the Lobos in a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m. Friday and play once more at noon Saturday. Baseball, ranked No. 16 in Baseball America’s preseason poll, plays at 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
Baylor Career Services will host a career fair from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Ferrell Center. The event is open to all students.

Track and field returns to Texas A&M’s indoor facility for the second time this season for the Texas A&M Challenge. The meet brings teams from the Big 12, Conference USA, the Pac-10 and the SEC.
The men take a two-game winning streak to Austin when they face the No. 6 Longhorns at 3 p.m. Saturday. At 6-4 in Big 12 play, the Bears hold a half-game lead over Texas A&M for third place in the conference.

Goodlett graduated from Baylor in 2010 and currently hosts the afternoon show on 92.9 FM Waco. She also provides sports updates for 1660 ESPN Radio Waco and has interned with ESPN in New York City. OneBU has partnered with the admissions department to showcase the different cultures and opportunities on campus. Students are invited to the Kaleidoscope Karnival, taking place from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center. The Karnival has invited nearly 100 high school seniors to learn more about Baylor’s diversity in conjunction with the Winter Premiere.
