In order to aid women in this monthly struggle, many women’s bathrooms are equipped with feminine product dispensers. Baylor’s bathrooms, however, often fail to provide the products women can’t go without. That is not to say Baylor doesn’t have dispensers. The ticket office at the Bill Daniel Student Center will begin selling student tickets Thursday for All-University Sing and will open the tickets to the public Friday. This year, tickets will only be available online. Students are required to create a student ticket account at www.baylor.edu/tickets before being eligible to purchase a ticket. This account is completely different from the football ticket account. Ticket prices will range from $18-$24, and students will be offered discounted prices. Early last spring, Pride School Atlanta announced plans to open its doors during summer 2015. The school, which has not yet opened because of difficulties securing a location, will be the first LGBT-oriented school to take roots in the southeast region of the country. The city of Waco has adopted a new smoking ordinance that went into effect Jan. 1, prohibiting smoking in all enclosed public places ranging from bars and restaurants to public parks. The City Council decided the new ordinance in a 5-1 vote in July 2015. As of January 1, 2016, Texas House Bill 910, open carry, is effective.House Bill 910 allows Texas citizens to carry their firearms in sight of the general public and citizens do not have to concealing them. This includes long arms, which do not require a license. Handguns do require a license, and the individual must be 21 or over.
