Coming off of a win for the first time in two weeks, Baylor volleyball looks to continue their success in a road match against in-state rival Texas Tech. Baylor currently sits at 10-13 overall, but only 2-5 in Big 12 play. Tech sits at last place in the conference with a record of 8-15 overall, and a paltry 1-6 record in conference.

Senior outside hitter Zoe Adom leads Baylor overall with 3.04 kills per set. Sophomore libero Mackenzie Mayo is eighth in the conference with 3.50 digs per set. Sophomore setter Amy Rosenbaum is fifth in the conference with 10.20 assists per set.

Texas Tech has struggled mightily this season. The Red Raiders are currently 8-15, and only 1-6 in the Big 12. Their only win this season was a five-set dogfight against Texas Christian. The Red Raiders have lost their last five matches played in Lubbock, and only have two home wins total this season.

Junior outside hitter Breeann David leads Texas Tech with 3.46 kills per set and 1.83 digs per set. In Big 12 play, sophomore outside hitter Jenna Allen has jumped to fourth in the conference with 3.68 kills per set in conference play.

Sophomore setter Emily Ruetter leads Texas Tech with 9.84 assists per set. Junior libero Rachel Brummitt leads Tech and is second in the conference in digs with 4.96 digs per set. For the year she is averaging 5.28 digs per set. That ranks Brummitt 18 in the nation in digs per set.
Texas Tech is ranked at the bottom of the conference in kills and blocks, and is second to last in hitting percentage, opponent hitting percentage, assists and service aces. The Red Raiders are hitting only .161 in conference, but are allowing teams to hit .262 against them.

Texas Tech should be the easiest match in conference play for the Bears, but nothing is a given for this team. Baylor will play Texas Tech at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Lubbock.
