    Fall Break is here and if you here are too, consider attending some of these upcoming events as your reward for making it this far into the semester.

    Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo | Oct. 9-15 | Times vary | Extraco Events Center, 4601 Bosque Blvd. | Prices vary | Mosey on over to the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo while it’s in town. This event has concerts, bull riding, carnival food and rides. Check out the artist lineup and rodeo events, especially the Xtreme Bulls.

    Tripping Daisy | Oct. 9 | 8:30 p.m. | The Backyard Bar Stage and Grill, 511 S. Eighth St. | $29.88 General Admission | Check out Dallas pop rock band Tripping Daisy at The Backyard this Friday.

    Creed Fisher | Oct. 10 | 8:30 p.m. | The Backyard Bar Stage and Grill, 511 S. Eighth St. | $26.93 General Admission | Creed Fisher is bringing country and love for his country to The Backyard this Saturday.

    Hispanic Heritage Month Walking Tour | Oct. 10 | 9:30 a.m. | Meet at St. Francis Catholic Church | Free | Journey through downtown Waco and learn about the Hispanic community that much of Waco was built on with Adrienne Cain Darough and Sylvia Hernandez. This walking tour hits a variety of stops and explores many fascinating stories.

    The Unknown Gathering | Oct. 10 | 3-10 p.m. | The Performing Arts Community Center, 924 Austin Ave., Suite 150 | $29 Regular Pass | Head to The PACC for an exploration of all things unknown, from UFOs to the paranormal.

    Watercolor Workshop: Ink & Wash Shop Front | Oct. 13 | 10-11:30 a.m. | Classroom #1 and #2 at Bledsoe-Miller STEAM Center, 300 N. M.L.K. Jr Blvd. | $10 | Enjoy a cozy morning by learning ink and wash techniques and painting your own storefront painting.

    Adult Skate Night | Oct. 15 | 8-10:30 p.m. | Skate Waco, 401 Towne Oaks Drive | $10 | If schoolwork has you stuck and you’re looking for a way to blow off steam, glide over the Skate Waco for adult skate night. Grab your friends, strap on some skates and roll your worries away.
