    Friday, Sept. 29

     

    “Crazy For You”

    Location: Jones Concert Hall | Cost: $17 with Baylor ID | Time: 7:30 p.m.

    Baylor Theatre’s performance of “Crazy For You” will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Jones Concert Hall. Adapted from the Gershwin musical comedy “Girl Crazy,” the show will pack tap-dancing numbers and comedic takes in several scenes while the main character attempts to save the town and win the girl. This theater performance will be a re-occurring event until Oct. 8. Admission is $17 with a Baylor ID.

    Live Music at The Backyard Bar & Grill

    Location: The Backyard Bar & Grill | Cost: $20 | Time: 10 p.m.

    Country music artist Mike Ryan will be performing live at The Backyard Bar & Grill.

    Saturday, Sept. 30

     

    Waco Downtown Farmers Market

    Location: 5th St. and Washington Ave. | Cost: Free | Time: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

    Fill your pantry and stock your fridge with locally grown food. This Instagram-worthy farmers market will have finger foods to eat as you casually walk around in downtown Waco on a Saturday morning.

    Waco Out of the Darkness Community 5K Walk

    Location: Bravos Park East | Cost: Free | Time: 6 p.m.

    The 4th Annual Waco Out of the Darkness Community 5K Walk will be bringing awareness to suicide prevention. Go online to here to register before 12 p.m. on Saturday. This event is free.

    Chad Prather’s Star Spangled Banner Comedy Tour

    Location: Waco Hippodrome | Cost: $22 | Time: 8 p.m.

    Chad Prather will be bringing his Star Spangled Banner Comedy Tour to the Waco Hippodrome. General admission is $22. Spend your Saturday night laughing in downtown Waco.

    Sunday, Oct. 1
