Since switching career paths after nearly a full year’s worth of mental breakdowns, I quickly realized that many people still believe the stigma of liberal arts degrees being a waste of time and money, implying that there is little to no return on the investment. However, research and statistics disprove that claim, with liberal arts degrees being shown to provide both wealth and invaluable preparation for the ever-changing job market.

This is not to say students should go around asking people whether or not they’re prescribed Adderall, and whether or not they’ve suffered from the consequences of the shortage. However, what we can all do is take this as an opportunity to be more patient with our peers and learn more about the stigma around medication.

Baylor students have mixed reactions to the increasingly open sex culture of America. As students at a Christian university, their school expects them to behave in ways that reflect Baylor’s Christian principles which maintain that sexuality is a gift from God and that temptations to deviate from this include heterosexual sex outside of marriage and homosexual activity.
