Woofstock, Alpha Phi’s biggest philanthropy event of the year, supported women’s heart health with a cutest dog contest surrounded by food trucks, a bouncy castle and plenty of photo ops. The event was held Wednesday evening at Bear Park.

Quite often, I hear girls complain about not having a boyfriend and feeling lonely. Loneliness sucks, I get that. Whenever I feel lonely, I usually find solace in a pint of vegan ice cream, so I completely empathize with the desire for companionship. What I don’t understand is why the void created by loneliness has to be filled by a male presence. I would like to suggest an alternative solution to the problem: get a dog.
Picture this: You study all night long for your final the next morning. You go into the test, make a mad attempt to regurgitate all the information that you were supposed to have absorbed, finish right on time and are left feeling like someone just played kickball with your tired, weary brain.
