The Baylor Career Center hosted over 115 employers for Career Day Tuesday in the Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center. The Lariat spoke to two of these companies to get their advice for students looking to give themselves the best shot at a selective job or internship.

At their “Kick Off Your Career” event Tuesday at Fountain Mall, Career and Professional Development welcomed students into the fall semester with food, games and an invitation to jump start their careers.
According to USA Today, more than half of all national college graduates unemployed when they throw their caps and Baylor seeks to maintain a track record better than the competition.
This is being done through career placement services, networking events and maintaining a high quality of education.
