The La Fiera de Ojinaga and Los Pescadores del Río Conchos concert has been been rescheduled, but the new date may allow for an outdoor community event.
“[Stanley] is so well respected, not only in terms of level of competitiveness at the school that he was at, but being about all the right things — about student development, about alignment with [the] Christian mission,” Cook said.
As esports grows across the nation, Baylor hopes to integrate its already successful program with university resources and branding.
The Welcome Center’s main purpose, aside from serving as an introduction to the university for prospective students, will be a new headquarters for the undergraduate admissions department, which is currently housed in the Wiethorn Undergraduate Admissions Center.
