Baylor Theatre and history students brought history to life and added a little Broadway flair for one night with “1776 and More!,” a show celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Theater students will reenact scenes from historical musicals such as “1776,” “Hamilton” and more while history students portray each of the Founding Fathers and provide historical context for the debate of declaring independence.
In honor of the musical’s ten-year anniversary since its debut in 2015, the award-winning musical is being shown in movie theaters nationwide — including Waco’s Cinemark theater on Creekview Drive — giving audiences another way to experience a show that changed Broadway.
