Because of AI’s market growth — projected to hit 4.8 trillion by 2033, according to UN Trade and Development — the anniversary symposium invited Baylor and other universities’ staff to research and present ideas on the ways AI will change business communication, strategy and employment rates.

McKnight, who originally got her start on her mom’s hair YouTube channel and then eventually started her own with her twin sister Bailey, majored in entrepreneurship at Baylor and has been implementing those skills towards her new business venture.
The Baylor Business Fellows program allows high-achieving students within the Hankamer School of Business to pursue a distinct, flexible four-year degree plan.
Baylor’s John F. Baugh Center for Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise is one of the oldest entrepreneurship programs in the nation — and for the last 15 years, it has been a top-10 program too, according to associate director Kathy Carr.
The application process has begun for Accelerated Ventures. Through this program, students from any major can get six hours of class credit and $5,000 to start a business.
Accelerated Ventures gives juniors and seniors of any major the opportunity to start a business in two consecutive semesters. The deadline to apply for fall 2013 is March 19.
