All-University Thanksgiving took on a unique feel this year, due to a rainy forecast that prompted a last-minute move indoors. Though the student, faculty and staff body were divided in person, students still expressed feeling united in spirit throughout the event on Wednesday night.

I believe transparency is vital to any news outlet, and I would like to address the response to The Lariat’s poll on Dave Aranda. Additionally, explain the posting of our social media community guidelines following the response to a separate story. I stand behind and support all the decisions my staff has made over the past few weeks and want to relay that to our audience clearly.
“We have a huge variety of ways for guests to submit their feedback, and ultimately, we do desire for every single student to have an opportunity to eat safely and like foods they can eat here in the dining halls,” Hancock said.
Sytsma said over 45,000 meal swipes are used each week, and dining services is always looking for ways to improve per the students’ feedback.
The Baylor University Board of Regents met today and approved names for buildings in East Village as well as spending measures for a new business school building and a new track facility.
The Gordon Teal Residential College, the north building, will be housing for engineering and computer science students. The south building has been named Hallie Earle Hall and will house the Science and Health Living and Learning Community. The middle building will serve as dining and administrative space and will be called East Village Dining Commons.
