This season has looked eerily similar to 2019 for the Bears, and the comparisons do not seem to be ending anytime soon.

Just one week before the season, Baylor football named Toledo transfer Dequan Finn its starting quarterback over former Mississippi State transfer Sawyer Robertson.

The Bears worked out 19 athletes in their annual Pro Day on Monday at Midway’s Activity Center in Hewitt, with 17 of them coming from head coach Dave Aranda’s 2022 squad.

Aranda said redshirt junior quarterback Blake Shapen and redshirt sophomore quarterback Sawyer Robertson will be at the forefront of the position battle.
