“There are a lot of people who don’t like to run by themselves, and so this is an opportunity to make some new friendships and get out there and do a community run, and maybe you guys can get some run buddies,” Uriah Yarbrough, Health Services staff nurse and outreach coordinator, said.

Embrace the nostalgia by attending a show featuring one of the most iconic Y2K bands, Bowling for Soup, try rooftop yoga or indulge in some delicious dishes at the Texas Food Truck Showdown.

The Flutie Foundation, along with Pi Kappa Phi, hosted a 5K on campus in support of individuals with autism. The 5K served as a charity fundraiser for Pi Kappa Phi’s philanthropy and included a diverse population of participants.

The Baylor chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity will hold their third annual Race One 5K at 8 a.m. Saturday at Jubilee Park with a fun run following at 8:45 a.m.

Music, contests, dancing, and prize handouts are a few of the many activities that will be happening at 9 a.m. on May 10 at Waco’s BSR Cable Park.

Runners of all ages will gather, decked out in all white, for the crazy and colorful Color Me Rad 5K run.
