No. 6 Baylor women’s basketball handed No. 23 TCU its first loss of the season on Wednesday night in the Foster Pavilion.
No. 18 Baylor men’s basketball weathered a 15-0 second-half run by the Big Red to win 98-79 on Tuesday night in the Foster Pavilion.
In front of a sea of blue and white, No. 10 Baylor men’s basketball took the court in the Big Apple for a neutral-site contest against No. 21 Duke but came up short, 78-70. Despite freshman center Yves Missi putting on a show good enough for Broadway, the Bears left Madison Square Garden with a bitter taste in their mouths on Wednesday night.
The Bears utilized a 49-point first half to keep the Hurricanes at bay on Saturday in the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”

MSPL follows the model “Pray, Stay, Raise and Go” when facing disasters, according to Sarah Walker, BearAid senior coordinator for service. Directly following the disaster, BearAid stays in Waco, allowing first responders to do their jobs and praying for those affected. Now, BearAid and MSPL are in the raise phase.
