Beyond the big names, 2024 is a great year for smaller, lesser-known artists beginning their touring journeys. Students commented on the tours and shows they are looking forward to the most in this upcoming year.
Seeking its first win against former Baylor assistant coach Jerome Tang, No. 9 Baylor men’s basketball fell 68-64 to Kansas State on Tuesday night in the Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kan.
According to McLennan County elections administrator Jared Goldsmith, students must make sure they are registered to vote ahead of the primary elections. The deadline to register to vote is Feb. 5 in Texas, and the last day to apply for a mail-in ballot is Feb. 23.
Inspired by the governing bodies of Baylor and other R1 institutions, The Woodlands senior and Student Body President Nick Madincea said student government aims to be the first in the Big 12 to roll out a five-year strategic plan. He said the strategic plan will help the organization unveil new projects while carrying on old ones.

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”

MSPL follows the model “Pray, Stay, Raise and Go” when facing disasters, according to Sarah Walker, BearAid senior coordinator for service. Directly following the disaster, BearAid stays in Waco, allowing first responders to do their jobs and praying for those affected. Now, BearAid and MSPL are in the raise phase.
