With full sun and temperatures in the ’90s, this past weekend made for a great second round of the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Upon arrival at Zilker Park, we were greeted each day with the familiar, colorful flags and signage as we walked in. As the afternoon progressed, flocks of attendees morphed into one giant crowd. Between abundant hydration breaks, here are the live music sets we visited.
“I mean, if you’re not gonna have fun, why do it if it’s your job? My band is all my friends from home, so it’s pretty easy to go up there and have fun, and I just think to not take yourself too seriously is a good quality.”
If you give a music fan an ACL wristband, they’re going to go to ACL Fest. And if they go to ACL Fest, they’re going to be doing a lot of walking around from set to set. And if they’re walking from set to set, they’re going to get tired. And if they get tired, they’re going to need more energy. And to get more energy, they’re going to need to eat. Good thing ACL has plenty of great local food vendors to choose from. So let’s cut this “If You Give A Mouse A Cookie” stuff out and dig into the best bites of ACL Fest!
Kissling said she is most looking forward to the day of the races when she can see the runners out on what is known as the “toughest course in Texas.”

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”

Lilia Gonzalez, director of nurses, said Health Services would remain available to monitor potential measles outbreaks and help students. Though the Texas measles outbreak has ended, Health Services continues providing preventative measures for other potential outbreaks.
