Minimalism has killed people’s creativity to put purpose and character in the details, opting for more basic designs in the name of being more economical and sleek. In turn, it has led to what many see as inauthentic creations that are only small points in a significant trend.

With 11 different off-campus apartment complexes and dozens of individual homes in its real estate portfolio, Baylor houses far more than the 39% of students who live on campus, and the number is growing.
“Everybody deserves to be treated with a sense of respect, regardless of culture,” Hispanic Student Association (HSA) President and North Richland Hills senior Daniela Lopez. “In such polarizing times, it’s important that everybody remembers we’re all just people, and we’re all just trying to get through every day.”

Due to deteriorating weather conditions during the morning hours, Baylor University will close at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 9).

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”
