The Holistic Fair on Sept. 22, this year titled “Healing Harvest”, featured several small business teaming up to benefit The Phoenix Project, an organization with the goal of providing aid to the homeless.

“We will be looking for more ways to enhance affordability, and growing our endowment is one of the best ways to do that, so [Student] Foundation scholarships are certainly critical,” Livingstone said. “The Student Foundation has done a tremendous amount of work to raise funds for student scholarships… They are wonderful ambassadors for our campus.”
“Obviously, try to first pursue what you like because you want to enjoy what you’re doing,” Thakkar said. “But at the end of the day, don’t stress too much about your major because you can easily change within the business school. You’re taking the same core classes for the most part, so just go with your gut because there’s a lot of flexibility.”

MSPL follows the model “Pray, Stay, Raise and Go” when facing disasters, according to Sarah Walker, BearAid senior coordinator for service. Directly following the disaster, BearAid stays in Waco, allowing first responders to do their jobs and praying for those affected. Now, BearAid and MSPL are in the raise phase.
