Baylor women’s basketball rattled off its third straight win Wednesday night, rolling past Houston 92-47 at the Fertitta Center. The Bears’ 45-point victory matches their largest margin of victory over a Big 12 opponent since Feb. 9, 2022.
While Jazz ‘n Stanzas happens during Black History Month, it is an open space which invites these non-Black students to share their stories and cultures as well. The art forms shared include song, spoken word, poetry, dance and other talents, Williams said.

But as members of Baylor’s International Justice Mission and other students discovered during their spring break mission trip in Houston, sex trafficking brings human slavery to a reality.
On a street once controlled by drug dealers and prostitutes, at a theater once used to show pornographic films, Mission Waco is working to create a haven where all people — regardless of social status, race or culture — can come together in community.
Downtown parking will be restructured in accordance with the downtown economic revitalization plan. That plan includes the possibility of paid parking.
Covid-19
“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”

As Election Day nears on Nov. 4, Texans will vote on 17 proposed constitutional amendments, most related to taxes. Dr. Paul Mason, Baylor accounting professor, said many aim to help specific groups but come with financial trade-offs.
