Today, Dong is a freshman sensation at Baylor, 3-0 in singles and half of the Bears’ No. 2 doubles pairing alongside Purdue transfer Kennedy Gibbs. At No. 85 in the national ITA singles rankings and No. 18 among newcomers, she’s been a revelation. But it took the counsel of a longtime friend to bring her back.
The band will release their debut single, “Golden,” on February 14. This will be followed by an EP titled “Extended Play,” which will be released on February 28th and include three songs plus their singles titled “Bloom,” “Home” and “Stereochemical.”

In keeping with its mission of providing a bridge between Baylor and the local community, the Baylor/Waco Foundation has begun fundraising for an endowed scholarship to be awarded to a McLennan County high school graduate beginning in the fall of 2012.
President Ken Starr will be speaking on service within the community at Caritas of Waco’s largest annual fundraiser, Feast of Caring, on Thursday.
Waco Independent School District offers a number of programs and accommodations in all of its high school campuses to prepare students for college.
A Baylor student who lived at The Outpost apartments is the subject of an ongoing investigation of what appears to be the construction of a bomb at the student’s apartment on Oct. 16.
Covid-19
“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”

As Election Day nears on Nov. 4, Texans will vote on 17 proposed constitutional amendments, most related to taxes. Dr. Paul Mason, Baylor accounting professor, said many aim to help specific groups but come with financial trade-offs.
