From requesting to change a final exam time to going to the Success Center, there are a variety of options for students to prepare for finals week.
Dr. Dave Bridge, associate professor of political science, said the class focuses on the institutions, rules and history of elections. When Bridge taught the class during the 2020 presidential election, around 250 students were enrolled.
Baylor’s traditional chapel offering — large-scale student gatherings in Waco Hall — has been scattered into a variety of “calling and career” options in recent years, as the chapel department pushes to personalize the chapel experience. The result: more than four dozen options, including everything from Aviation Chapel to Eastern Orthodox Morning Prayers.

In all, the survey had 25 responses by the time of publication. All of these identified as students, staff or alumni. Forty percent were dog lovers, 25 percent cat lovers.
Forty percent of people who responded to the survey had ever adopted a pet from the humane society. Of them 17.4 percent had either good or very good experiences with adopting pets from there and 4.3 percent said it was average or poor.
Rocky Bridges has worn a lot of hats, including marketer, assignment manager and photojournalist. Altogether, Bridges has more than 20 years of experience in the television news industry.

The Iran war is now in its 46th day. Iran responded by restricting access to Hormuz, which carries about a fifth of the world’s seaborne oil, and moving to toll vessels transiting the strait. Waco drivers are already feeling it. The local average hit $3.38 a gallon last week, up 21 cents in seven days and 75 cents year-over-year, according to AAA data.
