Sieracki brothers cherish playing together again, leading transfer-heavy offensive line

It is not always easy raising two offensive linemen.

This was reflected in David and Jennifer Sieracki’s grocery bill every week, but they did not stop supporting their sons, fifth-year Kaden Sieracki and junior Koltin Sieracki.

“It was expensive,” Kaden said. “It was a lot of meat, a lot of eggs, a lot of milk. It was a lot of money, but they support us great.”

Kaden now stands at 6-foot-9, 310 pounds, and Koltin is at 6-foot-4, 330 pounds after years of support from their parents and the training of Baylor’s staff.

All the support has paid off for the Sieracki brothers as they gear up to lead a Baylor offensive line that will feature three transfers.

Both got significant playing time on the line of scrimmage throughout 2025. Kaden started all 12 games and did not allow a sack in 583 pass-block snaps while Koltin started only three games with one at center and two at right guard.

Neither of them have taken this opportunity to play with each other for granted, cherishing the first time they played alongside each other since high school.

“It’s the most special thing in the world to me,” Koltin said. “Every day that I get to go out there and play one more snap with my brother is just truly, truly special.”

The sibling rivalry has lifted their games. They are more comfortable critiquing and demanding more from each other throughout the offseason because of that close relationship they have fostered over their whole lives.

“I’m getting on to him a good amount, and he also gets on to me, which I really appreciate,” Kaden said. “It’s just Koltin cracking down on me, as well as I’m giving him some tips.”

While Kaden has become accustomed to being in a starting role, Koltin moved up to starting center after Memphis transfer Yakiri Walker was denied a sixth year of eligibility in early August.

“The decision with Yak went the other way,” offensive line coach Austin Woods said. “[Koltin] stepped up, he’s done a great job of leading and communicating and playing some really high-level football.”

That is exactly the spot Koltin wanted to be in, commanding the middle of the offensive line.

“I actually prefer center,” Koltin said. “I think it’s more of a natural position for me. I really like hitting the double teams and getting on a hip and riding it out with my guys.”

Koltin learned under former Baylor center Coleton Price, who transferred to Kentucky as the Bears’ highest-rated departure over the offseason.

“He learned from a really good center,” Kaden said. “He learned a lot from [Price], and taking his command from Koltin, and he was able to move into the O-line room, and everybody really respects him.”

Other players on offense have taken note of the brothers’ leadership with an offensive line that has faced multiple changes since the start of last season. The running back room has particularly shown its appreciation for the Sierackis helping their unit grow stronger as fall continues.

“They’re leading that room,” senior running back Dawson Pendergrass said. “[They’re] getting them familiar with the offense, staying with them. Their leadership in that room is just really what’s helping out.”

Having the experience from the Sieracki brothers also assisted Woods in his first offseason as Baylor’s offensive line coach. He stepped into that role when Mason Miller stepped away from the program in late October. The pair helped their relatively new coach adjust to having to build up multiple incoming linemen.

“It helped a lot, just on a communication level,” Woods said. “Building those relationships with those guys, and then also hearing the guys that returned [about] how I communicate, how I talk in the room and I coach them, it helped that group tremendously.”

Kaden and Koltin are looking to compete alongside each other all season, and they hope to enjoy playing on the same field just like old times.
