The fast-paced Baylor offense will have a new wrinkle this year as former offensive guard LaQuan McGowan will be taking snaps at tight end. The 400-pound big man has an impressive set of skills including, as Baylor coach Art Briles said, “live feet, soft hands, and a little bit of a quick twitch.” Before football practice, McGowan talked about his transition from an offensive lineman to a tight end. Baylor opens up the 2015 football season at SMU on Sept. 4.
