Baylor University sent out another alert of an armed robbery just south of campus.
Campus Safety Alert – Robbery Occurs Near Campus Tonight
Baylor and Waco police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 10:35 p.m. Monday at 12th Street and Bagby Avenue near the Baylor campus. The suspect in the robbery is described as a black male, mid to late 20s, with a small beard and wearing dark clothing. The suspect displayed a small handgun and demanded money from a Baylor student, who was walking to a car.
Police continue to remind students to be alert to their surroundings and to not place themselves in an isolated situation regardless of whether they are on or off campus.
