The thermometer at Waco Regional Airport preliminarily hit 110 degrees Fahrenheit, pending confirmation, today.

According to the National Weather Service website, that temperature is good enough to tie for fourth all-time on the maximum temperature records list, which have been kept for Waco since 1902.
