Sept. 24 marks the 12-year anniversary of the National Pan-Hellenic Council garden. The garden serves to commemorate the significant role that Black Greek-letter organizations play in fostering community, leadership and service on Baylor’s campus.

Baylor has a rich musical scene, and it’s about to get even richer with the third annual JaZZ and StanZaZ show tonight.
The show, hosted by the Zeta Phi Beta sorority and Diverse Verses Poetry group, will be held from 6:20 to 9 p.m. in the Bill Daniel Student Center Den.
Performances will include song and spoken word poetry selections by Baylor students from a variety of backgrounds.
Finding a Greek council to sponsor their organization was an obstacle for the five original women of the Nu Iota chapter of Zeta Phi Beta.
The Baylor’s 11th annual StompFest is starting at 7 p.m. today in Waco Hall, with another performance at the same time Saturday.
Student Activities and the Zeta Phi Beta sorority’s StompFest offers students a chance to see Baylor organizations participate in a step show. StompFest will take place at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in Waco Hall. Tickets cost $8 and $10 at the door.
Construction has been approved for a National Pan-Hellenic Council Garden that will offer recognition for the Greek organizations in the council and give them an opportunity to educate the Baylor community about their history.
