Although only six teams are playing this week, all of them have earned bowl bids, making each matchup important for the Big 12 standings and potential bowl positions.

Baylor women’s tennis had a doubles team advance to the finals and single players advance into semifinals, but no Baylor player earned a title at the HEB Baylor Invitational this past weekend at the Hurd Tennis Center.

Men’s golf, which is ranked 18th, finished fifth Tuesday at the Lone Star Invitational in San Antonio, and senior Joakim Mikkelsen finished second.

TCU has accepted the Big 12 Conference’s invitation to become the 10th member of the conference. The announcement came at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the school’s campus in Fort Worth.
