I get that “we’re a basketball school” and being in Texas automatically makes football a big deal, but Baylor’s other sports teams are just as important and deserve more support from the student body.

Olivia Moses, assistant director of student productions, said demand is high, and purchasing tickets through the Waco Hall Ticket Office website provides the greatest chance at securing them. There are six shows in total taking place Feb. 15-17 and Feb. 22-24, but tickets should be purchased immediately upon release as they tend to sell out quickly.
After going on sale Monday at 10 a.m., Baylor football gave out their full allotment of student tickets by 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Student Activities reported selling out of student tickets after distributing a record 6,700 tickets on day one of student ticket sales.
Student football tickets have been at the forefront of people’s minds recently. First there was the issue with student section crowding at homecoming and then Baylor ran out of student tickets for Baylor’s game against Oklahoma.
Now that Baylor football is ranked in the top 10, football tickets are a hot commodity. For the past few decades, Baylor has done a great job of giving every student the ability to make it to football games with minimal effort on the students’ part.
