A once-in-a-lifetime eclipse which occurred over last year’s Diadeloso leaves this year’s celebration with standards that will be hard to top. Luckily, between Joshua Bassett and multiple unique attractions, the schedule for the “state fair” themed holiday on Tuesday will be packed.

Following the 1954 Supreme Court case Brown v. the Board of Education — which began a decadeslong process of the racial integration of public schools — Baylor voluntarily adopted racial integration in 1963. While the university has made strides to embrace diversity and inclusion on campus since then, members of the Baylor community say there is always work to be done.
Back in 2001, Zeta Phi Beta teamed up with the National Panhellenic Council and several other organizations to bring together the Baylor community with performances to support each other’s philanthropies. StompFest was originally known as “Afro-Olympics” then.
The National Panhellenic Board of Directors adopted Unanimous Agreement X, a piece of legislation that prohibits the attendance of National Panhellenic Council sorority women at men’s rush events, in November 2011. However, Baylor Panhellenic Council had yet to enforce the policy — until now.
