The Baylor Board of Regents met to discuss university spending and fundraising during its regular fall meeting Friday for the first time since the Board approved a $982.2 million operating budget for 2026-2027 in May.

The renovation will include an aesthetic touch-up to Morrison Hall and aims to increase the first floor’s classroom capacity and better accommodate the Baylor community with additional seating, improved floor planning and a new graduate common area.
Following an electrical transformer failure and a building-wide power outage, all classes in Morrison Hall have been relocated for the foreseeable future, according to a Baylor News Flash email.
After ranking the top five bathrooms to use on Baylor’s campus, I cautiously present the worst five bathrooms available to the public on this campus.
“We’ll all be together, and we’ll have a space where our students can still come to one place and know that they’re going to be able to find their faculty,” Browning said. “So we’re really excited about the move.”
