Current polls from The New York Times have Congressman Wesley Hunt as a favorite to win the primary, but he still has plenty of ground to cover against the other two candidates. As the election heats up, polls demonstrate that incumbent John Cornyn is falling to the back of the pack as the others move forward.

Since McLane Stadium opened its doors to the banks of the Brazos, Baylor football has racked up two Big 12 Championships, four bowl games and 37 victories. Exactly 10 years from the first kickoff at McLane, the Bears will add more history, hosting Tarleton State to celebrate a decade at the home of the green and gold.

Many websites joined Wikipedia Wednesday in their efforts to protest against two anti-piracy bills: the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Protect IP Act (PIPA). Wikipedia blacked out its site for the entire day, and other sites took actions of their own.

U.S. Rep. Bill Flores will visit the Waco Mammoth Site on Tuesday to rally support for legislation that would classify the site as a national monument and establish it as a unit of the National Park Service.

While most students were enjoying the beach or mountains during spring break, five students from Baylor’s student government and the Baylor student ambassador program traveled to Washington, D.C. for the “Big 12 on the Hill,” a program lobbying for causes that affect the Big 12 conference as well as Baylor in particular.
