Despite uncertain job prospects amid stringent visa restrictions and policy changes in the U.S., graduating international students at Baylor remain hopeful and faithful as they navigate the next chapter of their lives.

While first-generation students make up an estimated 16% of Baylor’s student body, Frisco senior Liberty Ferguson said significantly fewer take advantage of the available scholarships and programming, making student engagement a key success factor.
Joshua Bearden, director of McLane Stadium operations, said the organizers for the opportunity will have a photographer lined up from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 12 and 13. Students can purchase a time slot to have their graduation photos taken there.
College is a time of transition.
Some arrive knowing they’ll go on to jobs in other cities or return to families and hometowns, but others stay.
Some Baylor alumni have found a home in Waco, living in and giving back to the community where they received their higher education.
