“We tell our managers and our leaders all the time — we can have the best policies in the world, but if a manager doesn’t really understand it or support it, that can minimize the support,” Gochis said.

“We are more than computers made out of meat. We have a soul, we have a spirit and we have a mind,” Marks said.

In a few short weeks, another senior class at Baylor will embark into the real world, with many accepting jobs as professionals in various fields around the country and world.
