Students from across the U.S. involved in Baylor’s OTD program gathered Wednesday afternoon for a social tailgate to bond with each other and celebrate their white coat ceremony.

According to its website, Baylor’s McNair Scholars Program aims to prepare low-income, first-generation and other underrepresented students to successfully navigate a path to a doctoral program following graduation. It prepares undergraduate students for the rigors of doctoral studies through immersion in research and a variety of scholarly activities.
The Baylor Board of Regents approved construction on the new business school and track and field facility, designs for North Russell Hall renovations and plans for new doctoral programs at its annual Homecoming meeting Friday.
