Baylor’s chapter of Delta Epsilon Psi will host its first-ever Project Come Together for Waco elementary students.

Project Come Together, which was created 14 years ago by a Delta Epsilon Psi chapter in Austin, celebrates the accomplishments of elementary students completing their standardized tests for the year.

This year Delta Epsilon Psi raised $8,000 for diabetes research.

The fraternity presented a check to a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation representative at a lecture, “Juvenile Diabetes: Its Impact and the Race for a Cure,” held Wednesday night in the Baines Room in the Bill Daniel Student Center.

Delta Epsilon Psi fraternity is hosting its sixth annual “Who’s Got Game” charity basketball tournament Nov. 9-11 in Russell Gym and the McLane Student Life Center.

There are two events students can compete in, a 3-versus-3 basketball tournament and a free-throw contest. Both events offer men’s and women’s games.

The cost for the basketball tournament is $10 per person with a maximum of five people on each team. Students can register on the Delta Epsilon Psi “Who’s Got Game” website, https://www.depsizeta.org. Registration comes with a free T-shirt.

The Bill Daniel Student Center Den came alive Wednesday with the activity and enthusiasm of the racial and culturally diverse members of Multicultural Greek Council organizations at their annual Meet the Greeks event. Representatives from each of the member organizations manned booths and presented brief performances showcasing the character of their organization.
