The musical entertainment portion of Diadeloso had a different purpose this year. Rather than just celebrating the end of the semester, the Diadeloso final concert became another way for the Waco community to remember and raise money for those affected by the explosion in West.

The Waco Symphony Orchestra will be joined by guest violinist Jolente de Maeyer in its last concert of the season. The orchestra will perform three pieces all rooted in folk music.
The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Waco Hall. Tickets are $7 for students and start at $20 for general admission.
Some of Baylor’s best singers will display their golden pipes for the community.
The Baylor Bella Voce choir will perform at 7:30 p.m. today in Roxy Grove Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
The choir of 34 female singers will perform a concert titled “By, For, and About Women.”
Tonight Baylor Jazz Ensemble concert will include everything from Count Basie to Radiohead.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Jones Concert Hall in the Glennis McCrary Music Building and is free and open to the public.
“This is a concert where there will be literally something for almost everybody,” said Alex Parker, senior lecturer and director of jazz studies.
Today’s Baylor Jazz Ensemble concert will have a little bit of everything.
“I like to have an eclectic program,” said Alex Parker, director of jazz studies at Baylor.
