For Andy Spencer and Deanna Pratt, Baylor pride is a family tradition. From the first Mr. Bear to the debut of Marigold, this father-daughter duo helped shape the legacy of Baylor’s beloved mascots, one bear suit at a time.

Mascots Marigold and Bruiser, and Baylor’s song team competed in the College Classic Nationals competition April 6 to April 8 in Orlando, Flo. Baylor Mascots upheld their three year national champion position, and song leaders were runner-ups for both performances.
While Baylor football battles it out on the field week after week, certain people and programs behind the scenes carry on Baylor traditions and create the well-known atmosphere of excitement at McLane Stadium.

It wasn’t the start of a Big 12 brawl. It was the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics.
Twenty-eight people jumped into a pool at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Falls Water Park in support of Special Olympics Texas. Hawaiian Falls Water Park is located at 900 Lake Shore Drive.
