Men's Basketball
Head coach Scott Drew and the Bears (18-13, 10-10 Big 12) led for 17 1/2 minutes before the Cougars (27-4, 19-1 Big 12) stumbled upon a 20-4 run in the second half to build its only double-digit lead of the night. The green and gold rallied back to bring the game within two but couldn’t overcome a 34% shooting night.
The Bears will host the Cougars at 9 p.m. Saturday after dropping the first matchup 76-65.
After an 11-point lead turned to zero with 23 seconds left, Baylor scored the game’s final three points to win in Fort Worth.
Women's Basketball
Behind eight more made 3-pointers than Iowa State and 21 forced turnovers, Baylor women’s basketball extended its winning streak to eight, downing the Cyclones 67-52 Saturday afternoon at the Foster Pavilion.
No. 19 Baylor women’s basketball won their seventh straight game, the longest active streak in the Big 12, taking down Colorado 84-62 Thursday night at the CU Events Center in Boulder. The win keeps the Bears in a two-way tie for first place in the conference with No. 9 TCU.
“My identity is through Christ, so I don’t feel like my identity has changed much after making this decision,” Bartley said. “I think that I’ve just had a change in my life and my path, and that’s okay.”

The Bears amassed a comeback after trailing 7-2 in the first half during Saturday afternoon’s match against No. 7 Oklahoma State University.

Tennis
After a 90-minute delay, Baylor men’s tennis faced off against No. 1 TCU Friday night inside the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Facility, ultimately losing 4-1.

Friday night, Baylor men’s tennis traveled to Lincoln, Neb., and won the first matchup of its Midwest road trip, defeating Nebraska 4-2 inside the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center.

Backed by a perfect 5-0 week, junior Zach Heffernan hoisted Baylor men’s golf all the way to the Big 12 Match Play Championship. Despite a dominant week, the Bears’ run came to an end Wednesday afternoon, falling to Texas 4-1 in the final match in Hockley.
The Bears carded a better score on Tuesday to rise one spot on the team leaderboard.
